The Lundbeck Foundation Center

for Neurovascular Signaling (LUCENS)

is a research center based at The Research Park of Glostrup Hospital and affiliated with the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.

There is a leader of each of the sub themes who is directly responsible for the research and the budget of that particular sub theme. These leader are:

Migraine:		Jes Olesen Professor of Neurology, MD, DMSc, D.Hon.C, FRCP,
Stroke:		Lars Edvinsson  Professor of Internal Medicine, MD, Ph.D.,  DMSc.
Schizophrenia:		Henrik Lublin  Associate Professor of Psychiatry, MD, DMSc.
Eyes:		Michael Larsen  Professor of Ophthalmology, MD, DMSc.
Cerebral activity flow metab.:		Martin Lauritzen  Professor of Neurophysiology, MD, DMSc.
MR:		Henrik Larsson  Professor of MR, MD, DMSc.

Christina Rostrup Kruuse MD, Ph.D., Senior Scientist.

               
Each of the sub themes has specific milestones for each 6 month period and the productivity of the group  is measured against these milestones in biannual meetings.
Following the annual review of the International Scientific Advisory Board, milestones and budgets are adapted for the following year and an annual report is sent to the Lundbeck Foundation.
